Dear New Tech Families,
Ypsilanti New Tech @ Ardis opens soon! This is a very exciting time and we look forward to the many activities we have planned over the next couple of weeks. As a reminder, upcoming activities are listed below.
Your presence and active participation in all of these events is essential to ensure a successful start to our school year.
Monday, August 30 – § Student Orientation at YHS 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Tuesday, August 31st – § Student Orientation at YHS/Howell Nature Center 8:00 am to 5:30 pm § Please be prompt with your 8:00 am drop-off and 5:30 pick-up at YHS. § Students will be outside for physical activities and could get dirty. They should dress for the weather and must wear closed-toed ......shoes (sneakers or hiking boots). Lightweight pants recommended. § Field trip forms must be turned in for students to participate.
Wednesday, September 1st – § Parent Orientation Meeting at YHS 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm ....................§ ..Parents must transport their children to and from this event.
Thursday, September 2nd – § Student yearbook/ID photos at YHS 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Tuesday, September 7th – § Student first day of school @ Ardis beginning at 7:10 am § Some suggested supplies are: o USB flash drive at least 1 GB o Ear buds or head phones o Writing utensils (pencils and blue/black pens) o Loose leaf paper o Organizational binder(s), notebooks, or folders, keeping in mind you will have 3 core classes, Advisory and an Elective
